National Engagement: PAANY at the Yale Ivy Future of Pakistan

April 12, 2025, New Haven, CT. PAANY members attended the Yale Ivy Future of Pakistan Conference at Yale University, marking one of the organization’s earliest public engagements following its formation. The conference brought together a distinguished and well-attended gathering of professionals, academics, students, and community leaders to discuss the evolving role of Pakistanis in the United States. PAANY’s presence at the conference represented an important step in introducing the organization to a broader national audience. Although still in its formative stages, PAANY made a meaningful showing as an emerging professional network dedicated to strengthening the voice and visibility of Pakistani-American attorneys.

A highlight of the conference was the legal panel, which featured Asim Rehman, the former Commissioner & Chief Administrative Law Judge, NYC Office of Administrative Trials and Hearings (OATH)— a PAANY member—who offered thoughtful insights on public service, legal leadership, and civic responsibility within the Pakistani-American community.
